Aluminium Standingseam Roof
Educational Building - Case Study
Colaiste Bride secondary school in Clondalkin, Dublin.
Euroclad has supplied a series of stunning standing seam roofs for the new Colaiste Bride secondary school in Clondalkin, Dublin. The development takes advantage of the excellent performance and contemporary appearance of Euroclad’s standing seam roof system.
The numerous curved roofs encompass a total of 13,000m2 with the Euroseam outer profile being fixed over a structural steel deck, offering excellent acoustic performance; a key performance factor in sound-sensitive buildings like schools. Construction of the new secondary school and gymnasium started in 2004 with the demolition of the old school. The new buildings were developed on the same site for the Irish Department of Education and Science and the project overall was valued at €12m.
