Euroclad - Education BULLETIN
Euroclad Educational BULLETIN is part of a series of Project Features publications.
''Acoustic insulation is becoming increasingly important, particularly in buildings which require reduction of external noise or reduced intrusion from sound created by rain impact on the roof. Buildings used for education, such as schools and university lecture theatres, as well as other large buildings, very often have metal roofs.''
''Acoustic performance is measured by assessing the decibel (dB) sound reduction over a frequency weighted to the human ear – 100Hz to 5000Hz (5KHz). The average of this sound reduction is called the SRi, or Sound Reduction Index.'
